All new proposals must be reviewed and approved by the Scientific Review Subcommittee before submission to Central Office for funding consideration. ** please note: The R&D Committee will give concurrence for submission to Central Office only if the SRC has reviewed and approved the science of the project.**

All new proposals must be reviewed and approved by the Scientific Review Subcommittee before submission to Central Office for funding consideration. This process is encouraged for all resubmissions. Following the Scientific Review Committee meeting you will receive required changes/recommendations to be incorporated into the final application.
Prepare” drafts” of budget forms so you can review the budget with Mr. Gonzalez

- FINAL application package - COMPLETE Monday, MAR 5
Final application must be presented to Dr. Washburn and Mr. Gonzalez for final administrative review. (You must use the forms discussed in new guidelines “VA Application Guideline SF424 (R&R)” available at http://vaww.research.va.gov/funding/electronic-submission.cfm)
- Last possible submission date (to grants.gov) Monday, MAR 12
The final day for electronic submission is Thursday March 24, 2011. The electronic submission is held two business days in eRA Commons before being released to Central Office on April 15, 2011 (the due date).
